(Easter holidays to Tattie October Holidays) and December for our Santa event.

• Access into goats paddock to play and groom the goats.
- Also in the paddock lives a few sheep and an emu. They were all hand reared in the house and very very friendly.
• Wander around the farm at leisure. • Use of play area. • Picnic Area. Dog free picnic area.
• Scavenger Hunt. • Word Searches. • Quiz's. • Colour-ins.
• Refreshments/Sales Tables.
• Shelter and Toilets.

Visiting Dogs

Well behaved Dogs Welcome.

​Our own very friendly dogs are wandering around the farm, they love other dogs and mooching at the picnic table.  Please do not feed them.

We do have a dog free picnic area.

  • Hi i took my little one to a petting farm yesterday just out beside newdeer. And omg she had the best time ever. She loved all the animals . And the staff were so nice to us . Its was an amazing exprience . This is a non profit . So it all done with volunteers . They are a petting farm for asn and mental health . And are open at the weekend to public to help raise funds. It is run by 2 lovely ladys. It amazes me how they can do it themsel. They even run fundraiser over the year . To help them though winter etc. And every penny made is put right back in to the animals. £7 per person and u can stay all day . And even bring a picnic . Which is value for money . As some places are quite expensive. How they manage to do it with out any help. No sponsors or anything is amazing. And they even do birthday partys. The animals are all to friendly . Its unreal. And of course u can pet them brush them . My little one loved on the trampoline with the goats. So please if u have never been. Please go . If u love animals this is the place. And maybe if any companys big or small would like to sponsor them that would be amazing . And of course any donations big or small . They would be really grateful. But well worth a vist . There little gift shop is really not over priced aswell . Waulkmill menagerie ur guys are amazing . X

  • A wonderful wholesome day out. Animals are adorable friendly and so clearly well loved. Owners are so nice and welcoming and fantastic with kids. They also do loads to support ASN communities. Cannot recommend this lovely place more, we will definitely be back!

  • I took the kids (16,14,13&11) on Friday. First time we’ve been and will absolutely be back again. Was great to spend time with the animals in a super relaxed environment and we all loved feeding them. Our dogs loved coming with us. Family friendly pricing is perfect too

  • We visited this petting farm today and it was a huge hit with the kids! The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the animals were friendly, gentle and entertaining too. There were plenty of hand sanitizer stations which was massively appreciated. I got a genuine sense of homeliness here today and I reflect fondly on my experience.

    If I could suggest improvements it would be to upgrade some, but not all, of the play equipment.

  • We had a really great day out at Waulkmill Menagerie today with the kids. Such a lovely place for families, and all the animals were clearly well looked after. The kids absolutely loved it and had so much fun.

    It’s a fantastic day out for families, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for something enjoyable to do with the children. It’s also great that they run ASN days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is such a thoughtful and inclusive idea.

    We’ll definitely be back!

  • Such a safe and welcoming place to go. There is no where else quite like it.

    We go almost every week to visit a very special little goat that my daughter adopted. Spending time in the paddock with her wee goat pal has really boosted her confidence.

    The animals, visitors and site are so well cared for by the wonderful volunteers. You can even sit down with a coffee and a snack (after the goats, Walter and Cleo have had theirs of course)
